Urgent Appointments (on the day allocated by GP)
Patients requesting a same-day appointment for a problem that is considered urgent will be added to the on-call GP’s list. The on-call doctor will then review the request and an appropriate appointment will be booked.
To book an urgent appointment:
We are open Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 6.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm.
When you get in touch our team will ask what you need help with. They have been asked to do this by the doctors. The information you give us helps the on-call doctor to choose the most suitable appointment and Clinician for your problem.
Routine Appointments (pre-bookable)
Consultations at the surgery are by appointment only and can be made in advance. To book a routine appointment:
Patients may see the doctor of their choice by appointment, though there may be a delay if you wish to see a specific doctor.
Your Appointment
However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:
- Face to face at the surgery
- By phone
- On a video call
Please tell us:
- If there is a specific Clinician you would like to be seen by
- If you would prefer your consultation to be by phone, face to face or by video call
- If you need an interpreter
- If you have any other access or communication needs
If you arrive late for your appointment by 10 or more minutes, you may not be seen and may be asked to re-book your appointment.
By sharing your mobile number with us when you book, you will be sent an appointment reminder which also gives the option to cancel if you are unable to attend.
Cancellations
If you cannot attend your appointment for any reason please contact us as soon as possible so we can give the slot to someone else

Repeated failure to attend booked appointments may result in removal from our list to ensure that our other patients get a good level of access to our services.
Home Visits
Home visits are at the discretion of the GP. If you feel a home visit is required then please call the surgery before 10.00am, unless in the case of an emergency, for the details to be passed to the doctor who will assess the need and prioritise/plan the visit if necessary.

Extended Access Service
Appointments are available 6.30pm to 9.00pm Monday to Friday, and 10.00am to 3.00pm on weekends.
You can book in advance or on the day by calling 111 or the Extended Access Service directly on 01922 501999.
The service is run by local GP’s and can be accessed at Pinfold Health Centre.

At your local chemist. Available to access self-care and treatment for minor ailments. Speak to your pharmacist for more information.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now use 111 online, 111 BSL service (if you use BSL) or call 111
111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
